Crime of the Week For Nov. 18.

Near North Crime Stoppers and the North Bay Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in solving an attempt robbery that occurred on Algonquin Ave. near Oakwood Ave., in the City of North Bay on November 16, 2004.

Between 1:30 am and 2 am, on November 16, 2004, an elderly man was walking on Algonquin Ave. near Oakwood Ave. when two males approached him.

The two males asked the victim for his wallet and when he refused, they began striking and kicking him. The victim fought back, possibly injuring one of the assailants in the knee. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspects are described as white males, 6’0” tall, in their mid-20s. One had blond shoulder length hair, and the other wore a plain dark toque.
