Near North Crime Stoppers and the Ministry of Natural Resources are looking for the public’s assistance to help solve a natural resource violation case which resulted in a forest fire near 80 Acre Lake in French Township, a frequently visited camping area.
On the afternoon of Friday, August 10, 2007, a forest fire was started near 80 Acre Lake. MNR is interested in speaking to any person or persons who may have visited this remote site on this date and /or who may have more information pertaining to this incident.
Anyone with information pertaining to this incident or any other crime is asked to call Near North Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). Remain Anonymous and earn a cash reward. Your call is never taped or traced.
