The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has declared the COVID-19 outbreak at Au Chateau over.
Both people associated with the outbreak are considered resolved.

The respiratory outbreak was in Section "A" at Au Château Home for the Aged in West Nipissing.
"The causative agent was COVID-19," said the Health Unit.
Additional infection prevention and control measures were put in place, facility-wide.
A COVID-19 outbreak is declared in a long-term care home when there are two or more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents, staff, or visitors, and the infection likely spread to at least one of those cases while they were in the facility.
