North Bay's Cory Marks has released another new tune recently.
This new song, "In Me I Trust," is an inspirational country-rock song with the potential to become a new sports anthem to be heard behind videos at the WWE and many other professional sports. Or simply a personal workout song to help you get motivated.
The lyrics were written by Marks, Kane Churko, and Kevin Churko for the song debuted as part of Marks' new EP Nashville Nights.
"I walk this desert alone, crawled my way through the dust. Built this road on my own. In Me I Trust," the talented Marks belts out in his new song.
"I hope this song gets you through whatever you are going through," said Marks on his Social Media page.
"Times are tough but it gets better, keep punching back and stay on track."
Marks took his song south of the border where he opened a concert tour Tuesday night at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, New York.
Then Marks will travel to four other spots in early September in Lewiston, New York, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Camdenton, Missouri and Pryor, Oklahoma.
"As I prepare to cross into the US for 5 of the original 15 shows I was supposed to perform but covid struck again cancelling 2/3 of them," Marks stated on Social Media about the tour.
"I’ll be going over with caution but the same intensity and goal to rock all 5 of these shows and cities knowing damn well, I’ll be back again. I can’t wait for this pandemic and disease to get lost so we can get back to live music and our own somewhat normal lives!"
