Following a media release issued yesterday morning regarding a break-in and robbery that took place at a rooming house on McIntyre Street East, North Bay Police arrested and charged six people yesterday.
A group of men broke into a boarding house on McIntyre St. East Wednesday evening demanding money and drugs from the occupants.
The culprits escaped prior to police arriving.
All of the following are currently in custody awaiting bail hearings today, accused of the following charges:
· Neville Wright, age 42 of North Bay
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery
o One count of weapons dangerous;
o One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
o One count of assault;
o One count of assault causing bodily harm.
· Dylan Wright, age 18 of North Bay
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
o One count of weapons dangerous;
o One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery
o One count assault;
o Once count of assault causing bodily harm; and
o One count of breach of recognizance.
· Allan Shawana-Manitowabi, age 18 of North Bay
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
o One count of weapons dangerous;
o One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery;
o One count of assault
o One count of assault causing bodily harm;
o Three counts of fail to comply with disposition; and
o One count of breach of probation.
· A young person

o One count of weapons dangerous;
o One count of break, enter & commit robbery;
o One count of break & enter with intent to commit robbery
o One count of assault; and
o One count of assault cause bodily harm.
· A young person

o Two counts of breach of probation.

Police say money and drugs were demanded from the occupants at knifepoint and that only a number of cigarettes were taken.
As a result of this robbery, three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Two were taken to hospital for medical attention on the night of the attack.
