CBC News is reporting that contractors that salt and plow Northeastern Ontario highways have been fined more that $650,000 for poor performance.
The fines were levied Between August 2013 and February 2014.
Transfield Services Ltd., which does work in the North Bay area, faced $155,000 in fines.
CBC obtained the information using a Freedom of Information request.
