North Bay Police say they responded to a report of a break-in in at a construction trailer in the central part of the city.

Overnight Tuesday, thieves broke into a trailer at the site and once inside they stole cordless drills, a hammer drill, a skill saw and a Saws All.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Bay Police.

Police say break-and-enters are always a major concern. Victims feel violated and have a hard time dealing with the sense of anger and loss when they are victimized.

"A great tool that the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police has endorsed to help combat property crimes is the Trace Pen, which allows property owners to invisibly mark and then easily register their valuables on-line in a secure Canadian centralized database," says Constable John Schultz. "The database and product detection tools will be utilized by police to identify the stolen property with the goal of reducing property theft in Ontario."
