On the 4th of Dec. during daytime hours Cst. Daniel Shepstone of the North Bay Police Service received information concerning a man with what appeared to be a handgun.

The officer then relayed the description of the individual to other officers within the city. Shortly after, Cst. Andre Berube and Jason Long of our Service, located the man walking on Cassells St.

He was arrested and the officers found a fake gun on his person as well as prescription drugs for which the man did not have a prescription.

Adam MARTIN 21 years old of Lakeshore Dr. is charged with Carry Concealed Weapon, Breach of Probation and a Contravention of the Controlled Drug & Substance Act. He was held for a bail hearing.
