Come on North Bay give Greg a hand

North Bay native Greg Kolz is in the homestretch of his bid to get the ‘Best Job in the World’ and needs all the help he can get from his hometown.

North Bay native Greg Kolz is in the homestretch of his bid to get the ‘Best Job in the World’ and needs all the help he can get from his hometown.

The job involves exploring the islands of the Great Barrier Reef and report back on his or her adventures to Tourism Queensland in Brisbane (and the rest of the world) via weekly blogs, photo diary, video updates and interviews.

Kolz says landing the job is like winning the lottery ‘a long-shot’ but at this point he isn’t focused on the job, right now he is focused on getting into the top 50 from there he will refocus on getting top spot.

“Making the short‐list is necessary in order to advance to the next stage of the job application process,” says Mr. Kolz. “This can only be done with the continued support and encouragement of the people of North Bay and beyond who take the time to endorse my video.”

“Truth be told,” says Mr. Kolz, “I already have a terrific job (working for MP Anthony Rota in Ottawa), but if by some miracle I was able to land this gig in Australia, I’m sure that my current boss could survive without me for a few months.”

Kolz is encouraging everyone to view his video on‐line and register their 5‐star rating by visiting:
