A two vehicle collision Monday morning sent both drivers to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident happened on Highway 17 at approximately 11 a.m. and closed the road for approximately one hour at Trap and Skeet Road where the two-vehicle head-on collision occurred.
The North Bay Fire Department extricated a driver who had been trapped in one of the vehicles.
As a result of the investigation, Mathieu Gagne, 26, of Ottawa has been charged with Careless Driving.
