Six North Bay residents charged with several offences after drug search

On Thursday October 18, members of Project "Northern Gateway" (a joint investigation between members of the Ontario Provincial Police and North Bay Police service) conducted an investigation which resulted in a search warrant being executed at a Lakeshore Drive residence in the city of North Bay.

Officers entered the home on the authority of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant.

OPP and North Bay officers entered without incident and seized of a quantity of powder cocaine and the components of a suspected crack cocaine conversion lab.

Six persons were arrested at the scene and all of the individuals have been charged with drug related offences.

The potential street value of the seized drugs is approximately $500.
