City woman faces assault with a weapon charges

On the 12th of August at approximately 9:00PM, Csts. Ashley St. John, Barry MacIntosh and Christian Elia of the North Bay Police Service responded to an alleged incident that occurred on Cedar Heights Rd.

The victim was allegedly cleaning brush from his property when a female approached him swinging a baseball bat which struck him in the head and yelled get off my property.

The victim was transported to North Bay General Hospital where he was treated and released.

Heather HANSENBERGER, 48 years old of Cedar Heights Rd is charged with Assault With A Weapon and will attend at a later date for court.
