City woman charged with theft

North Bay Police have charged a 46-year-old female with Theft and Unauthorized use of a Bank Card.

Marie Morrow of Lakeshore Drive will appear in court in May to answer to the charges.

The investigation was initiated when information was received that the victim, a man in his 70’s who was infirm as a result of a stroke suffered some time ago, was being preyed upon by the accused, who is alleged to have emptied his bank account over a period of time.

Cst. Randy Adair of the North Bay Police is continuing his investigation.
