Due to significant public interest, the City of North Bay wishes to clarify the situation with the proposed communication tower at the New Water Treatment Plant.

While not yet finalized, the preferred option that the City is pursuing is a four meter (18 foot) high antenna attached to the roof of the New Water Treatment Plant. This type of structure will not require any flashing (or any) lights to be attached to it.

Once all the details are worked out a public meeting will be held, as is the City’s policy with regard to these matters. Should you have questions about this matter, please feel free to contact the undersigned at 474-0400 ext. 308.
