City police issue a heat caution

North Bay is expecting warmer temperatures over the next week. In light of other incidents throughout the country, the North Bay Police wish to remind the public about the dangers of leaving babies, children or animals in vehicles unattended.

Temperatures in a vehicle can rise to dangerous levels within minutes, even when the windows are cracked.

These type of incidents relate to negligence and can lead to criminal charges.
