City police investigating a suspicious person report

At 3:15 PM Jan 5th a young female reported that while she walked home from school in Callander a man in a beige 4 door mid size car drove up beside her and asked if she wanted a ride. She ran and he watched her for a couple of minutes then drove off.

He is described as: 30-35 yrs, heavy build with dark complexion, dark beard and moustache. He was wearing a black leather jacket ,blue jeans, sunglasses and a black toque with “tap out” in white on it.
