City officials attending AMO meetings

AMO meetings take place in Ottawa from August 14th to the 16th

Mayor Al McDonald, CAO Keith Robicheau, and councillors Mark King, and Jeff Serran will be heading to Ottawa this weekend for the start of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference which will take place in the nation’s capital from August 14th to the 16th.  

McDonald has stated he will be focussing on a number of issues including economic development, the Ring of Fire, ONTC, Cassellholme redevelopment, changes to the LHIN, the Hydrogen Forum, Community Energy Park to name a few.  

He will also be keeping an eye on proposed municipal asset management regulations, Ontario's Community Infrastructure fund along with employment training for abused and at risk women programs.
