City man charged with assault with a weapon

On the 24th of Oct. at approximately 4 AM it is alleged that a man attended a residence within the city and attacked another man. He then smashed property belonging to the owner of the home.

Csts. Steve Sproule and Anthony of the North Bay Police Service attended the scene and had to pepper spray to effect the arrest.

Michael CLARKE 33 years old of Lakeside Dr. is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Mischief and Assault. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
