City council is looking to spend $134,900 to improve the entrance to City Hall.

According to a staff report, the main entrance door system is well beyond its useful life.

"A planned renovation project will bring the main entrance doorway system up to current accessible standards while addressing issues such as poor sealing and twisted door frames caused by temperature variations. The work will include the replacement of all doors at the main entrance, adjusting the interlock brick pavers leading to the entrance to bring the slope to current accessible standards and adding a drop ceiling to bring heat, cooling and light closer to the vestibule area between the doors."

If approved the contract will be awarded to Pronor Construction of North Bay,
