City busy with break and enters

Between the hours of 2 and 3:30 AM on the 30th of July, thieves pried the front door to an apartment building in the 1000 block of Clarence St. Once inside they then pried upon the coin area of the washing machine.

On the 31st of July at approximately 3:50 AM a man was seen leaving an apartment building in the 800 block of Clarence St. At this time it was noticed that someone had forced their way into the laundry room area of the building and broken into washing machines as well as dryers to obtain coins.
This man is described as male white, 6' tall, slim build mid to late 20s, short hair and wore a long sleeve shirt with two dark bands on each sleeve along with dark jeans.

Between the 28th and 30th of July thieves forced their way into a residence in the 100 block of 4th Av. W. via a ground level window. A locked safe was entered as well as various items within the home were taken including jewellery, medication and coin collections. The total value of the loss is approximately $70,000.

Overnight on the 29th of July thieves pried open a locked front door to an apartment building in the 100 block of Giroux St. Then the thieves made their way into the laundry room where they knocked over a washing machine and dryer and forced their way into the coin receptacle and stole the coins.

Overnight on the 29th of July thieves forced their way into a locked laundry room at an apartment building on Johnston Rd. Once inside they knocked over a washing machine as well as a dryer and pried open the coin area.

Overnight on the 27th of July thieves entered a laundry room of an apartment building on Hillcrest Av. and then knocked over a washing machine and broke open the coin area.

Overnight on the 30th of July thieves attempted to break an office within St. Andrews United Church in the 300 block of Cassells St. A glass door to the room was broken, however the locked door kept the culprits out. Nothing appears to have been taken but there were blood stains left at the scene.
