The Callander Horticultural Society is holding the following events at the
Callander Community Centre, Swale Street in Callander:

April 15, 2009, Wednesday, Callander Horticultural Society, Swale Street,
Callander, General Meeting, Open to Public, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Speaker: Monica McLaren, a Master Gardener presenting ideas for Composting. Master Gardener available for questions, Door Prizes and Social to follow.

May 20, 2009, Wednesday, Callander Horticultural Society, Swale Street,
Callander, General Meeting, Open to Public, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Speaker: Sue Carr presenting growing Roses and their care.
Master Gardener available for questions, Door Prizes and Social to follow.

May 23, 2009, Wednesday, Callander Horticultural Society, Swale St.
Callander, Annual Spring Plant Sale, Open to Public, 8:00 AM to SOLD OUT. Ground Covers, iris, hosta, and perennial plants;
Master Gardeners available for questions.

June 17, 2009, Wednesday, Callander Horticultural Society, Swale Street,
Callander, General Meeting, Open to Public, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Speakers: Rheo Courchesne giving a computer presentation on 10 basic models of floral design AND Adrian van der Bijl demonstrating how to make the floral designs listed in the August Flower Show Schedule.


August 21, 2009, Friday, Callander Horticultural Society, Swale St.,
Callander, Members Set-up for the Flower and Vegetable Show. Members bring in exhibits 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and again Saturday
8:30 am to 10:30 am. 11:00 to Noon, Judging.
