Chippewa Overrun with Bananas!

This Friday, May 14, Bring Your Own Banana is coming to the Chippewa Intermediate/Secondary School Courtyard once again.

This extremely popular event is being brought to you by the Near North Student Robotics Initiative for the tenth year. You can't miss this event from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Every year robotics students make banana splits as a way to promote having fun without drugs or alcohol. Prizes are available and the music duo, Laugh Rebel is making a special stop at Chippewa Secondary School on their "Chasing Spring" cross Canada tour.

The proceeds from this event will be given to the Near North Student Robotics Initiative and their efforts to compete in the FIRST robotics competition on an international level.

Prizes, banana splits, live music make this event to be an hour of non-stop action, and if you're not careful you may get run over by a robot!
