Chippewa celebrating 'Aiming for the Top' scholarship winners

Chippewa Secondary School is proud to announce this year’s recipients for the province’s Queen Elizabeth II "Aiming for the Top" scholarship.

The award winners are: Ben Wu, Eleanor Vandermeer, John Murphy, Alicia Mossington, Robin McKay, Chantal Lacelle, Gabrielle Kelly, Cassandra Kelly, YiCong Huang, Celine Hotte, All of these young men and women are currently attending college or university in a variety of fields of study including Business, Science and Technology.

This scholarship is a program of the Ontario government that rewards students who graduate with top marks in high school who are continuing their studies at an Ontario college or university. Students who maintain an 80 per cent average at the post-secondary level can receive these scholarships, worth up to $3500 per year, for up to 4 years in total.
