On March3, 2013, at approximately 7:27 a.m., officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Bay Detachment responded to a collision involving a school bus and a motor vehicle on Highway 17, Bonfield Township.
Investigation revealed that the school bus driver failed to yield right of way and charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act.
There were no students aboard the bus.
