The Sudbury Star is reporting that the charges of sexual assault against Carlos Carvalho, president and chief executive officer of CTS Canadian Career College, were dropped last Tuesday after e-mails exchanged with the alleged victim were uncovered.

The star reports the former CTS employee, was giving her testimony when the e-mails came to light and as a result the charges against Carvalho were withdrawn because the Crown felt the e-mails damaged the woman's credibility.
In 2005 the CTS Canadian Career College president was charged with three counts of sexual assault and one of assault.

Carvalho will sign a peace bond stating he will stay away from the woman.
