A news release from Canadore College says it has no immediate plans to close any of its campuses, however, it is reviewing options for the academic delivery of programs.
“The current work environment is safe, and we’re making best efforts to keep it that way," says Canadore President George Burton. "However, we recognize the situation is fluid.”
"Colleges across the province are responding to concerns around COVID-19 based on their local circumstances," continues the release. "Some colleges are continuing with operations while other colleges have moved to suspend in-person classes in favour of online instruction.
"Canadore College has an extensive pandemic plan and protocols in place. While campus operations continue as usual, Canadore has cancelled social events and large gatherings effective immediately, until April 30, 2020."
