Canadore College is in Brazil this week to promote itself as a premier partner for Brazilian maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) technology training.

Canadore’s Vice-President of Corporate Services, Richard Peters, is in São Paulo at a seminar with airline executives, MRO centres, Air Force, and tier-one suppliers to highlight the role the College plays in developing  highly-skilled graduates ready to meet the demands of the global aerospace industry.

“We have a long and rich history of producing exceptional graduates ready to work in aviation anywhere in the world,” said Peters. “Canadore prides itself on being responsive to industry, and we are always evolving our program offerings to meet the needs of employers. Our graduates’ knowledge and experience is relevant and transferable to businesses in every corner of the globe.”

Peters is highlighting Canadore’s quality academics as a training partner with opportunities in both Brazil and Canada at the IV Brazil-Canada MRO Seminar organized by the Trade Commission of Canada. The timing is just right as Brazil is intent on supporting the growth of the aerospace sector within its borders to improve regional accessibility and connectivity.

The seminar includes a special opening statement by Consul General in São Paulo, Stéphane Larue, as well as a series of discussion panels, workshops, exhibits and more.

“On the world stage, Canada is widely seen as an integral force in sustaining and growing the aerospace sector because of our track record. Our graduates in particular hold their own on the job."
