Canadore convocations this week

On May 31 at 10 a.m. Conway Fraser, Producer of News and Current Affairs for CBC in Sudbury , will be speaking to graduates from the Communication Arts, Health Sciences, and Preparatory programs.

On June 1 at 10 a.m. Scott Clark, media personality and president of advertising firm Benjamin James, will be speaking to graduates from the Law and Justice, Hospitality and Tourism, Recreation and Leisure Services, and Business programs.

On June 2 at 10 a.m. Grand Council Chief John Beaucage, of the Union of Ontario Indians, will be speaking to graduates from the Information Technology, Human Services, and Office Administration programs.

On May 11, Captain Ed Smith, Canadian Air Defense Sector Standards and Evaluation Officer for Fighter Weapons in the Canadian Air Division, spoke to graduates from the Aviation and Skilled Trades programs. The convocation was the first ceremony held at Canadore’s Aviation Campus.

Canadore is very proud of all the graduates for their accomplishments and for achieving their education goals. This year there are approximately 1000 graduates.

The Convocation Ceremonies are being held in the gymnasium at the Education Centre.
