Christmas gifts, Christmas presents

The North Bay community showed it had a huge heart, donating numerous gifts for local lonely seniors in the community that will now share the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

At this moment, volunteers and Home Instead Senior Care staff are preparing to wrap all the donated gifts. A wrapping party will be taking place at 400 Olive St. W. on Friday, December 20 at 11 a.m, where community volunteers will be as busy as elves wrapping gifts to be delivered to North Bay seniors by Home Instead “Santas."

The Home Instead office serving North Bay invites you to join a gift-wrapping event to “wrap up” the 2019 "Be a Santa to a Senior" program. This annual program brings cheer, companionship, and gifts to aging adults in North Bay who may otherwise be alone during the holidays.

"We will wrap from 11 a.m-1 p.m., grab a slice of pizza and deliver gifts in the afternoon," says the Facebook page.

Volunteers from the North Bay area will wrap gifts generously donated by the community, including books, games, toiletry items and clothing. The gifts will be wrapped and delivered by volunteers to local seniors.
