The Environmental Action Committee is hosting a Can Change Festival on September 15th 2007, between the hours of 11am and 11:00pm. The festival will be held at the North Bay Waterfront.
The Can Change Festival will be an alcohol/drug free community event that will have activities going on all day for adults and children alike.
Activities, vendors, and information booths, and music will be held between 11:00am and 5:00pm.
Amplified music will occur between 5:00pm and 11:00pm.
We have chosen the name 'Can Change' because our festival is really about just that, helping people to make changes for the betterment of the environment and society as a whole.
The purpose of this festival is to promote environmental awareness about issues that affect our community, our country, and our planet. We are promoting buying locally, choosing organic, and making smarter choices about the way you live and the way your choices affect those around you.
