Bush party keeps city police busy

Overnight on the 7th of April Csts. Barry McIntosh and Bill Gainforth along with other officers of the North Bay Police Service were kept busy with a bush party that took place in the Laurentian Av. & McKay Av.area of the city.
Several youths then left this party and attempted to enter into parked vehicles on those streets.

Within this time period commencing at approximately 9:30 PM, a garage was broken into and several guitars and an amplifier were stolen. The individuals responsible were caught and the property was returned.

There was also a Saturn vehicle set on fire that had to be extinguished by the North Bay Fire Department and further that was totally destroyed. A neighbouring home had the siding damaged for several thousand dollars in damage and another home deck was damaged for approximately $2000. In damage.

The investigation continues and at the time of this release charges are pending.
