The U21 World IWWF Waterski Championships are taking place from July 4-8 at Shalom Park in Edmonton and North Bay's Jaimee Bull is already leaving her mark on the water.

In the preliminary round of women's slalom, Jaimee Bull set a pending U21 World championships and U21 Canadian Record with a score of 5 buoys @ 10.75 m (39.5 off). This eclipses Jaimee's previous tournament best and U21 Canadian record of 4 buoys @ 10.75 m.

Jaimee was the only skier to clear the 11.25 m rope length in the preliminary round.

Jaimee is part of the six-person Canadian Team and Canada has a legitimate shot at the team championship medal.

the tournament continues throughout the weekend webcast and results can be found at Shalompark.com or worldwaterskiers.com
