Boy brandishes knife on school bus

On the 29th of March it is alleged that an argument ensued on a North Bay school bus. This argument continued to the point where a 13-year-old boy took a knife and threatened to cut the other boy’s throat with it. An independent witness on the bus told his parents who in turn contacted the school in question and they ended up calling Cst. Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police Service.

A search of the boy’s locker produced a knife and he was arrested.

The 13 year old is scheduled to appear in court on the 16th of May for the charges of Assault With a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous and Threatening.
