Bomb Scare At Local High School

The students, faculty and staff at West Ferris Secondary School had a few tense moments Friday afternoon just as classes were letting out for the weekend.

Students are alleged to have found a note in one of the girl’s washrooms, and the note stated that there was a bomb was on the premises and that it was set to go off in the school at 4 o’clock.

Police, fire and emergency crews responded and were all on scene, however, a full sweep of the facility turned up nothing.

Police are continuing an investigation into the matter.
