The Blue Jean Ball, the first annual fall fundraiser for the North Bay Food Bank is sold out! The Chair of the event, Katharine Strang, announced today that all 350 tickets for the event Friday night at the Davedi club are sold.

"We have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm in the community about our event. The generosity from our corporate sponsors has been overwhelming! We have sold all 350 tickets. The hall, most of the food and advertising has been donated. We have incredible raffle prizes from generous donors which we anticipate will be very popular!" said Strang. "We are looking forward to an amazing evening Friday night."

All proceeds for the event go to support the North Bay Food Bank on Hammond Street. The Food Bank supports hundreds of families and is open to serve our community Mondays and Fridays 9:00am to 2:00 pm and Wednesday evenings from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Food and monetary donations to the Food Bank are always welcome and can be made at 1319 Hammond Street or by calling 705-495-3290.
