The North Bay Police service is investigating several break and enters which took place over the last few days. On Nov. 12 between 11 AM and 4 PM thieves broke into the rear of a home on Labreche Drive.

On Nov. 12 between 11 AM and 4 PM thieves broke into the rear of a home on Labreche Drive. Once inside they stole a Sony DVD player, several 26 oz. and 40 oz. bottles of liquor and a number of smaller bottles as well. They also stole jewellery, along with two watches, a family ring, a pearl necklace, gold bracelets and some earrings.

On Nov. 13 between 2:45 PM and 4:45 PM thieves broke into two adjoining homes on Mercer Street. They forced open a kitchen window and ransacked a bedroom in one residence and stole a quantity of jewellery including gold chains, and earrings and a starter’s pistol that resembles a snub nose .38 calibre handgun. The thieves forced open two rear doors at the other residence and then stole a gold chain with a cross and horn pendant.

Overnight Nov. 11 thieves smashed the rear glass door of Basket of Wishes on Oak Street E in North Bay. It does not appear that anything was missing.
