It appears that North Bay fans are going to be able to access Wolves-Battalion playoff tickets in Sudbury prior to the 48-hour window the Wolves organization has set out for non-Sudbury area clients.

Nicholas Forsyth, the unofficial North Bay Battalion fan club president who has organized Battalion fan buses since the team moved to North Bay says he has secured tickets for a fan bus for game #4 in Sudbury on Thursday, April 18 at 7:05 p.m.

Forsyth tried to secure tickets for game 3 in Sudbury on Tuesday, April 16 between the Wolves and Battalion, he found out North Bay fans wanting tickets will have to take a back seat to Sudbury area fans.

Other North Bay fans trying to get tickets ran into the same problem when they went online and plunked in a North Bay area address.

"Unfortunately for North Bay fans, we are allowing Sudbury fans the opportunity to support their Wolves first and Sudbury fans get first purchase rights and North Bay members will be able to purchase 48 hours beforehand being on Sunday," the Wolves told Forsyth via an email.

Forsyth is relieved he was able to make this happen for game #4.

"The 7th man is always eager to hit the open road and support our boys," Forsyth told BayToday.

"I have always attempted to initiate a bus with each round and game the Troops play. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

There are always challenges, but Sudbury came with it’s own set of obstacles in that all North Bay fans were being denied the right to purchase tickets.

"After many communication attempts, I was finally able to secure a block of tickets and a bus for Game 4 and Game 6 if necessary.

Forsyth says the Fan Bus scheduled to leave North Bay Memorial Gardens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

Prior to game #1 puck drop at Memorial Gardens, Forsyth stated the bus was 75 per cent full.

"The rivalry is alive and well, live or die we bleed green," Forsyth exclaimed.

Game two of the best-of-seven series is Saturday at 7 p.m. at North Bay Memorial Gardens.
