Sudbury Poutine Fest is set for August 25-27.
What's not to like about poutine? It's unhealthy, we'll give you that, but soooo delicious.

Grab your favourite fork, the first annual Sudbury Poutine Fest is scheduled for Aug 25-27, 2017, in downtown Sudbury.

Food lovers will get free entry all weekend long to savour an array of Poutine related food vendors. There will also be beverage, craft and treat vendors to satisfy that craving.

Sudbury Poutine Fest will be held outdoors within two adjacent downtown Sudbury parking lots with road closures.

The outdoor venue will be designed to include a large Dining Court, Entertainment Gardens and Vendor Strip according to a news release from the organizers.

The venue will be outfitted with multiple furnished eating areas arranged with tables, chairs, and tents to accommodate large dining crowds of 3,000 at a time.
The festival will feature free entertainment all day, with commercial headliners at night.  All free live events will include an outdoor stage, beer gardens and brand partner activities.  Headlining artists are yet to be announced.

The festival will also host a number of beverage and poutine competitions including Eating Contests and Best in Category drinks/dishes, where vendors will compete for patron engagement and votes.

Sudbury Poutine Fest is in support of the Sudbury Food Bank.
