P.L.A.Y.S. “Parents Lending Autistic Youth Support Association will be hosting its 1st Annual Glow in the Dark Golf Tournament on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Golf Course in North Bay.

Proceeds from the event will benefit youth with Autism in North Bay and Area by raising money for “Group Respite Services”, “New Programs” and “Promoting Autism Awareness” within our community.

The festivities will begin at 6:00pm with a BBQ, Meet and Greet including an address from Mayor Al McDonald and a Silent Auction where we will auction the Deputy Mayor Sean Lawlor as a Caddy for the evening.

The Glow in the Dark Golf Tournament is a 4 person scramble and will commence with a shot-gun start at 8:00 pm. Come out and enjoy this unique way to golf.

We are a parent driven initiative that has been established by a group of parents and caregivers to fill a need in our community:

The mission of P.L.A.Y.S. is to provide youth with Autism and their families who live in North Bay and Area with equal opportunities to participate in activities and programs by providing group respite funding and by developing new programs that best suits their needs.

We are also dedicated to provide Autism Awareness in our community about the issues that meet these families on a daily basis.
