A North Bay man faces several charges following an attack on a downtown street early Tuesday afternoon.
North Bay Police were called to the scene, on Main Street East near John.
The aggressor physically assaulted another man, who fell to the ground.
Bystanders saw the fight and intervened.
Police say when the victim tried to run away, the attacker chased him with a rock while yelling threats.
The victim took refuge in a restaurant on Main East, where the aggressor broke several items.
Police issued an arrest warrant and charged a 28 year old man from North Bay, with one count of assault, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of mischief under $5,000, and one count of uttering threats.
He was released with a court date scheduled for November 25th.
