The students at Widdifield Secondary School are set to host their semi-annual Artsfest event.

Grade 12 student Andrew Bell, who is taking part on stage as well as off, says Artsfest is an opportunity for students to highlight and celebrate the collaborative class work that they have achieved during the semester. He explains that students in the business class also play a role as they are responsible for organizing all aspects of the show including promotional materials.

“ArtsFest is just a combination of what all the classes are doing. It is all aspects of the arts,” explains Bell.

The evening’s performance includes dance, drama, instrumental and vocal music as well visual and media arts.

ArtsFest takes place on Sunday January 9th, Monday January 10th, and Tuesday January 11th.

Tickets are $5.00 in advance by calling 472-5711and $7.00 at the door.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and curtain time is 7 pm sharp.
