Arrests made after Street Crime Unit executes search warrant

At 7:30pm on the 19th Dec the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a Delaware Ave residence.

A man and a woman were in the premises at the time. A search of the male located 15.7 grams of what is believed to be cocaine.

A search of the residence located additional drugs believed to be 130.7 grams of cocaine, 26 Percocet, 1 40mg Oxyneo pill, 1 100mg morphine pill and 1.2 gms of marijuana. Other items seized included cash and drug paraphernalia.

Wayne Mitchell 32yrs of Harris St was arrested and charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, and breach of probation.

Stephanie Shouinard 33yrs of Delaware Ave was arrested and charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime.

The street value of the seizures is approximately $14,000.

Both persons have been held in custody for bail hearings.
