Area families counting on you to help stuff an ONR Bus reminder

On Saturday, June 27, 2009, the 1st Annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive will take place in the parking lot of Dollar's Independent Grocers between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. An Ontario Northland motor coach will be parked near the entrance of Independent Grocers and volunteers will be stuffing the bus with donations of non-perishable food items for our local Food Bank.

"We are pleased to participate in this worthwhile cause", said Cheryl Sutton, Vice President of Passenger Services, "and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the North Bay Food Bank for many years to come."

"I have honestly never seen our shelves so empty before. The food bank is in dire need of everything at this time," Dick Dinnes, Manager of the North Food Bank continued, "we need pasta and sauce, powdered milk, canned meat, fruit and vegetables, pet food, and, of course, we will accept donations too."

Please stop in on Saturday at Dollar's Independent Grocers and make a donation to help families and neighbours in need...Come Stuff the Bus!
