The local Health Unit is reporting three new COVID cases today. That means six in the past two days.
This time, two are in the 20-39 age group and one is 60-79.
Two contracted the virus by close contact with a case, while a third got the case by travelling outside of Ontario.
All are isolating at home.
Close contact is a person who provided care for the confirmed case, including healthcare workers, family member, or other caregivers, or who had other similar close physical contact, or, a person who lived with or otherwise had close, prolonged contact with a confirmed case while the case was ill.
It makes 64 the number of cases in North Bay-Parry Sound so far, and at this point 10 are isolating and there has been one death. The remainder were resolved.
