It was a morning of music, celebration, and the gift of giving at Twiggs Coffee Roasters on Fraser Street today.

The traditional Christmas fundraiser took place from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the local coffee shop and was broadcast live on KISS 100.5.

Organizers say the event has raised more than $40,000 with more rolling in and all the proceeds going toward the North Bay Santa Fund.

"What an amazing morning at The Carmine Ricciuti Christmas Special! Over $41,000 raised and more rolling in with online donations, all in support of The North Bay Santa Fund. The generosity in North Bay is heartwarming," said Vicki Tyler, KISS 100.5 on-air personality.

"Thank you for making this a special Christmas for those who need some extra help this year."

Donations will continue to be accepted by drive-thru at the McKeown and Fraser locations up until Friday night.

"This tradition is the biggest one-day fundraiser for the North Bay Santa Fund and we appreciate your continued support as the Santa Fund is 75 years old this year," organizers stated.
