Police updated the woman's condition this morning.
"The pedestrian suffered major injuries and remains in hospital. Her family has been informed. The investigation continues. We will update with a news release as soon as the final traffic report is complete."

At 10:13 this morning, North Bay Police were immediately dispatched to the scene of a collision on McKeown Avenue, near Cartier Street.
A witness says it happened at a new intersection near the A&W when a truck, turning left coming into the intersection, struck the woman.
A female pedestrian in her 70s, who was struck by a pick-up truck, was injured and transported to hospital by ambulance.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are still at the scene.
