OPP are looking for a hunter that appears to have fired his gun to intimidate people he accused of ruining his hunt.

Last Sunday police got a call about a man firing a rifle near Antoine Creek in French Township, west of West Nipissing.

Shortly after 7 a.m. two people were stopped at the top of a hill on Antoine Creek Road when a man approached them.

"He was upset that they had spoiled his hunt. As they walked towards the creek he then fired the rifle into the air," said Constable Miles Loach.

Police want to know the man's identity. He was accompanied by a friend and was driving a charcoal grey truck/jeep hybrid vehicle with large tires. The man is described as middle-aged with short shaved hair.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police authority.
