All Heart Pet Rescue in Powassan is having its first ever benefit dance.

The rescue has been in operation almost 10 years. It has seen more than 3000 dogs go through its doors and over 500 cats.

All animals being named, vaccinated, temperment tested and brought back to health.

"The only way we have been able to do this has been with the help of the animal lovers out there"

We rely solely on donations, therefore the fundraising dance that will occur at the Powassan Legion on King Street (off of Main) Saturday May 12th from 8pm until 1am will have a licenced bar put on by the legion, a DJ, a silent auction, and a lite lunch at 10 pm.

Tickets are being sold at the door for $5 each.

Even if people just drop in to say hello it would be wonderful.
