"You are naturally funny," said Simon Cowell during the semi-final show Tuesday.

The 28-year-old who now lives in the Toronto area, lives with cerebral palsy and uses a computer-generated voice from his phone to help with his comedy act.

An engineer by day, the former Chippewa and West Ferris alum says he took a stab at comedy just over a year ago and now he is an America's Got Talent finalist.

He got through without any support from Canada, as Canadians were unable to vote for the comedian during the process that took place Tuesday night and ended early Wednesday morning.

But obviously, he is gaining an international following with 150,000 followers on Instagram while his TikTok's have accumulated more than 9,000,000 likes.

Another North Bay native had success at America's Got Talent. Back in 2017, Sara Carson and her dog Hero finished fifth in the high-profile made-for-TV talent show.
