The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNBA) extends its sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the fourth annual Krispy Kreme Doughnuts fundraiser (June 17, 2010) such a big hit.
A record 850 dozen doughnuts were enjoyed by area residents, raising over $3,400 for ACNBA's client services outreach programs.
J. S. Redpath Ltd. employees picked up 37 boxes, the biggest Krispy Kreme Doughnuts order of this year's event.
Special thanks goes out to John Strang and U-Need-A-Cab for their doughnut delivery assistance and Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Lakeshore Drive for providing the van that made the trip to Krispy Kreme in Mississauga possible.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts fundraiser coordinator, Kathleen Jodouin, says in light of this year's sales success, ACNBA wants to bring in 1,000 boxes next June, which would make it the agency's largest doughnut order to date.
